Daoist Flow Yoga · Cultivating Grace, Ease & Fluidity
A dynamic Daoist Flow Yoga class built around two qualities that often feel at odds: grace and strength. Rather than treating fluid, easeful movement and physical strength as separate goals, this class cultivates them together - building the kind of capacity that allows us to move with more grace because we're strong, not despite it.
Drawing on Daoist Flow Yoga principles, we'll work with fluidity throughout the body, letting movement flow through the joints and spine rather than holding it in isolated segments. Strengthening postures, including warrior 3, build stability and control, while transitions - like the movement from standing to sitting - become an opportunity to practice ease under real physical demand, not just in stillness.
In this class you'll explore:
· Fluidity and ease of movement throughout the whole body
· Strengthening postures, including warrior 3, to build stability
· Graceful, considered transitions from standing to sitting
· Daoist Flow Yoga principles applied to strength and softness together
Props to have to hand: Cushion, blanket or padding for the knees
