VENUE AND LOCATION
August is the ideal month to visit our stunning retreat location in coastal Morocco, with the cooling breezes that bring sumptuous temperatures of 23-28c!
Our gorgeous venue is nestled in a charming coastal village, just steps away from miles of wild sandy beach. The tranquil village offers a unique blend of laid-back vibes, rural life, beautiful beaches and incredible surf. You can also soak up Moroccan culture, art and architecture in the bustling souks, Medina and ramparts of Essaouira which is a 30-minute drive away.
Within our venue grounds there are spacious riad villas, each with a swimming pool and roof terrace with stunning views of the village, coastline and rolling hills. There are also well maintained gardens, a hammam spa and tennis court… something for everyone!
YOGA AND MINDFULNESS PRACTICES
As this is a small group retreat each class responds to the individuals within it, with personalised variations offered to support and meet you where you are and invite depth to unfold.
Yoga will be offered twice daily. In the morning there will be an uplifting class of 2 hours, where breath awareness and pranayama unfold into somatic yoga flows to awaken, invigorate and cleanse.
The evening class will be an hour of gentle, calming and healing practices with yin and restorative poses, inversions, meditation and deep relaxation.
MEALS
Brunch and supper will be freshly prepared using local produce to create delicious, nutritious and balanced vegetarian cuisine. Expect deliciously aromatic Tangines, fresh salads, dips, cheeses, fresh and dried fruits, nuts, sweet and savoury pastries, breads and more.
One evening mid-week we will eat out in village to soak up the local atmosphere.
GETTING THERE
The nearest airport is Essaouira, which is a 20-minute drive to our venue. There are direct flights available with Ryanair departing from Stansted Airport.
Alternatively, you can fly to Marrakech, which is a 2.5 hour drive. At either airport our trusted drivers will meet and greet you.
