Our retreats are held in places of outstanding natural beauty to create the perfect antidote to stressful urban life , providing the yoga practice & ideal environment in which to relax, restore & replenish on every level to bring about total well being. On the retreats we offer yoga, meditation, relaxation, wholesome clean cuisine, optional day excursions to beauty hot spots, massage and of course great company!
Yoga… is practiced generally twice daily, morning & evening. In the mornings a 2 hour flowing yoga practice invigorates & cleanses the body, focuses & calms the mind. Evening yoga gently explores the asanas (yoga postures) & pranayama (breathing techniques). Yoga nidra (yogic sleep), relaxation, silence & walking meditation will also be practiced during these evening sessions to help cultivate inner balance, harmony & awareness. Cuisine… we endeavour to always use the best of fresh local produce to provide a cleansing yet wholesome diet which is often organic. Meals are vegetarian, with a fish option on occasion.
